Took me around 30 some hours CS2 with custom brushes. Mostly an experiment (to see if the custom brushes worked decently...) And this was the result. This is the second piece in the Feather series I'm currently doing. The skin texture was another experiment...and not sure if I like it or not.

Commission, interior art for Final Sword Productions ( not sure the name of mag.) About 20 hours on CS2. Still getting the hang of it I guess. All custom brushes.

Just a commission for a fellow Gaian. Gaiaonline is a guilty pleasure of mine, and I wanted money to shop. So I held an auction for artwork. This is a girls character that she plays online. I had fun doing it, but most of the time it was pushed back because of RL issues and commissions. Thankfully she was patient with me.

I originally titled this piece "Serenity", but decided to go with a more "catchy" title. She is my clumsy second attempt at digital, and I am not all together pleased with how she turned out....

This is really my third attempt at digital. I normally work in colored pencils, but am now expanding into some other mediums.
I know buisness wise that digital is what is in store for art in the future, regardless of what some people say. I hated digital for the longest time, but most of that irritation was because I did not have a computer, nor programs to play with as I do now. I have since changed my attitude, and am now experimenting with digital more and more...
Anyway, this piece is the first in my "color" and "bird" series...this one called Dove for the obvious reasons. I will be doing Cardinal, Blue Jay, Raven..etc.
And yes, I drew all those tiny strands of hair...I am a detail freak!
